We are seeking a qualified Assistant Teacher for our preschool. The ideal candidate would have

Early Childhood Education or Early Child Development Education and experience working with young children between the ages of 2 years to 6 years old. The available position is Part-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

Must have at least 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units or Child Development units with continued registration/ be in progress to attain a minimum of 12 ECE units.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Livescan fingerprint clearance.

Criminal record & TB clearance.

Pertussis, Measles, Influenza (flu), vaccines.

Must be genuinely loving, warm, nurturing with children.

Must be able to relate well with children/parents and all staff members.

Must be reliable, flexible, and possess self-confidence in dealing with adults and children.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
