At Montessori Preschool, Irvine & Lake Forest, we believe in nurturing the whole child through a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. Our program blends Montessori principles, play-based learning, and social-emotional development to help children grow with confidence and curiosity.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for children aged [2-5 years]
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
Supervise and engage children during play, learning, and mealtime activities
Support classroom management using positive guidance techniques
Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with parents and leadership
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment
Collaborate with team members to plan lessons, events, and parent communication
Ensure the health and safety of all children by following licensing and school policies
Qualifications:
ECE units / Child Development coursework (Preferred or Required based on position)
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or childcare setting (Preferred)
Warm, patient, and energetic personality
